If you’re building your startup business from the ground up, you must know the importance of making a good impression with a beautiful website. It represents your business and what your customers see and think of your brand.

While you can design a website yourself, it’s far easier and faster to use a business website builder and template. You just need to choose one that fits your business and do a little bit of tweaking.

To give you a headstart, I’m going to share the 10 best website templates to create a high-quality site for startup businesses.

I’ve divided the templates into three different categories, starting from the easiest ones and then moving on to those that require more time and effort. Let’s have a look.

Website builder templates

If you’re new to website building and don’t have much tech knowledge, using website builder templates is the easiest way to create a stunning and professional-looking site.

Thanks to the drag-and-drop mechanism, most site builder templates are easy to use and customize. And depending on the builder, you’ll also get additional features to create a site of your dreams.

Here is my top list of startup business website templates from site builders:

1. Ciesto by GoDaddy

Ciesto is a black-and-white themed business website template.

Its homepage comes with a picture header, short introductory headings, and a clear call to action button. There’s also a nine-grid picture gallery to show the customers what the business is all about.

You can add relevant blog posts and reviews from real customers to strengthen your brand’s social proof. On top of that, make sure to take advantage of the contact form to grow your email list.

Ciesto is the perfect startup website template for small business owners who want a sleek and professional look. It is included for free in GoDaddy’s premium plans, which range from $9.99 to $24.99 a month.

2. Polystat by Wix

Polystat is a startup landing page with an animated header background. Use the feature to attract visitors and convey the goal of your startup business.

Since it’s a one-page template, Polystat keeps everything neat by alternating between blue and white for each section. It also comes with large fonts and headings that will catch anyone’s attention right away.

Write short descriptions about your services and products followed with a call to action button to boost conversion rates. There’s also a partnership section for social proof to increase your brand’s credibility.

This free business website template is great for SaaS startup businesses. You can use it to create a mobile app landing page, FAQ about your app, and others.

Use this template for free once you sign up for any plan of Wix, starting from $14/month.

3. Inves by Zyro

Inves is a one-page website template, which uses its simple design to tell a story about the business through pictures and short descriptions. Plus, all elements are placed strategically throughout the page, so users can easily navigate your site.

Scrolling down, there’s a dedicated section with a call-to-action button to meet your conversion goals. You can use it to promote products, events, or services your business offers.

That said, even though Inves is a one-page template, you’re free to add as many pages as you like. Use the drag-and-drop editor to create blog posts, landing pages, product catalog, and much more.

As a Zyro template, you can easily create content for your startup website through the Zyro AI Writer. All you do is put in some sentences or choose a business category, and the tool will generate content automatically.

Inves is a good choice for tech beginners and small business owners who want an easy way out of building a website. It’s beginner-friendly, and the plans are affordable as well, with the starting plan priced at $1.99/month.

4. Almar by Squarespace

If you’re a consulting business in need of a photo-rich template with bold fonts, Almar might be a good choice.

There’s a dedicated page where you can display your membership options. This business web page template also enables you to offer free consultation sessions, so visitors can see what you have to offer before committing to a plan.

Other than that, Almar provides all the necessary pages to create a website for startup businesses. You’ll get pre-built pages for blog, contact information, company profile, and landing page.

Almar is one of the free templates offered by Squarespace in all of its plans. Unfortunately, unlike the previous website builders, Squarespace does not offer a free plan. It does have a 14-day trial, but after that, the price starts from $12/month.

5. Digital Agency by Duda

With a dark and modern theme, this free template by Duda is aimed to cater to the needs of digital marketing companies. It’s fully responsive to all devices and has a clean design.

A drop-down menu bar is placed on the top of the page next to the company’s logo. Buttons leading to your contact and project pages are placed in the header, making it more noticeable to the users.

This Duda template has a creative About me section with rotating graphics and a short paragraph about the company’s vision. Plus, the content slides in as you scroll, creating a unique and modern experience for your clients.

You can get this template for free when you sign up for Duda. Like Squarespace, there’s no free plan available. The three premium plans are ranging from $14 to $33 per month — billed annually.

6. Colibri by Webflow

Colibri is a one-page startup website template with a CMS blog feature, allowing you to add and edit blog posts easily.

There are three different homepage layouts to try. What’s more, it’s possible to change the template color with just a few clicks thanks to its Global swatches feature.

Colibri is fully responsive and designed to load fast, no matter the devices you are using. In addition, it also has stunning contact and call-back forms you can fully customize with the Webflow editor.

Note that Colibri is a premium website template, which costs a one-time fee of $49. And to make the site live, you’ll also need to purchase one of Webflow’s subscription plans.

WordPress themes

If you plan to use WordPress, it’s best to use a WordPress theme as there are thousands of options available for this CMS.

On the other hand, if you’re still scouting for the best platform to build your site, I only recommend WordPress for those prepared to spend time and effort. You need to spend time learning all of its features, but you’ll have more freedom in customizing the site.

With that said, let’s take a look at the two best startup website templates made using WordPress.

7. StartEricus

StartEricus is a landing page for startups, equipped with different sections to tell customers all about the company. Each section is anchored with links so customers can easily find more information about the content they’re reading.

There’s also a testimonial section where real customers can leave comments and feedback. It’s designed with parallax animation that makes it stand out more.

StartEricus is fully responsive and SEO optimized, making it a good choice for medium- to large-scale companies that are looking for simplicity and versatility.

What’s more, this startup landing page offers the Elemantor page builder that lets you drag and drop elements and edit paragraphs to fit your website’s needs.

A single license of this website template is priced at $72. There are additional fees if you want to have it installed and customized by the developer.

8. Apex Business

If you’re looking for a multipurpose, lightweight template, Apex Business can be a good choice.

It’s fully customizable and can be used for almost all types of websites, including businesses, startups, or portfolios — thanks to its various built-in demos that can be imported with just a few clicks.

That said, be sure to transform these demos and make it truly yours. Use the customization options that can be accessed through the Elementor page builder, and then impress your clients with a beautiful, unique website.

Should you encounter any problem with this startup website template, Apex Business offers support through emails and official documentations.

You can download Apex Business for free. However, there’s a pro plan ($59) available should you want to access the Elementor builder and more built-in demos.

HTML website templates

If you have coding knowledge and would like to have more flexibility and control over your website, HTML startup website templates are for you.

This type of template lets you go into the core code of the webpage and make changes to it. Web developers usually use these templates to create a website for their clients.

Here are two of my favorite HTML startup website templates that you might like.

9. Vizion

Vizion is an AI-powered startup HTML5 template with innovative demos and various homepage layouts. It is perfect for any industry, be it fashion, finance, or tech.

The template has a cross-browser optimization, so it’s fully responsive to any device. And to ease the web development process, Vizion is packed with Google Web Font, animated CSS, Jarallax effect, and Owl Carousel.

What’s great, it also has other useful features for your startup website, such as video integrations, AI-chatbot, sliders, newsletters opt-ins, and so on.

Vizion costs $19.

10. OSaaS

OSaaS is a modern template for a startup company offering web-based applications and services.

This responsive template has a clean and modern design with five different homepage options. It is built on Bootstrap 4 and is compatible with HTML5 and CSS3, so your website will be compatible across browsers and devices.

Aside from the usual pages like About and Blog, OSaaS also comes with FAQ, 404, and Team pages.

Thankfully, this SaaS startup website template is quite affordable. For $10, you’ll get updates and six months of support.
